What are your favorite parts of your job?

My favorite parts of the job are knowing that our efforts are having a positive impact on students across the country and having the opportunity to train, equip and encourage staff members to be the best they can be.

Why did you choose the SIU?

I chose SIU because it’s a great place to work and I like being on campus. As an employee, I was able to enjoy continuing my education and earning my accounting degree.

Winter, spring, summer or autumn – which one and why?

Fall, of course. I love the changing colors of the leaves, the cooler weather, the wagon rides and the upcoming holidays.

My favorite activity outside of work is:

Spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren: Ty, Elsie, Everly and Wrenly.
