The City of Mississauga recognizes 12 young entrepreneurs for their “innovative business concepts”.

Successful applicants receive $ 1,500 to start their business at the start of the program in May, and an additional $ 1,500 at the end of September, if they have completed all of the program requirements.

“The youth of Mississauga have demonstrated exceptional potential with their ideas and applications for the Summer Company 2021 program,” Mayor Bonnie Crombie said in a statement.

“It’s wonderful to see innovation combined with drive and corporate vision. I encourage the youth of Mississauga to consider this valuable program in the future as a learning opportunity that can help them embark on their entrepreneurial dreams.
