iSellBeer™ – Distributor Business Manager – Beverage Industry Job Listing

Company presentation:

iSellBeer™ is an IT vendor that “behaves” like a vendor and helps consult with the distributor network on how to improve execution and sell more beer.

Job description:

iSellBeer™ is looking for a Distributor Business Manager who is passionate about helping our distributors improve execution. In many ways, this is a “supplier” role that will travel to a responsible list of 25-40 distributors across the United States. While traveling to existing distributor customers, you will provide training on our software, execute best practices and participate in field work. While not traveling, DEE will support clients from their office, using cloud solutions like Zoom to conduct virtual training webinars and troubleshooting.

Main Responsibilities and Responsibilities:

Here are some key areas of this work that will define success:

(1) Own and support distribution relationships for your network.
You are our company’s key representative to each distributor. You may have daily interaction with an administrator or analyst, but you will also need to be able to check in regularly with the key decision maker (GM/VP of Sales).

(2) Track adoption timelines for each customer using analytics

Our customers are beer, wine and spirits distributors who use an app to track retail execution and their managers use a secure portal to track analytics. Our visibility on their behavior (clicks) thanks to tracking software like Mixpanel, allows us to know to what extent they are “adopted” which translates into a greater annual renewal of services. Previous use of Mixpanel or Google Analytics or similar cloud-based click tracking software is a plus for this role.

  • Beer support (>30 sales reps)

  • Software platform mechanics

  • Analytics Customer Success

  • Training of outgoing customers

  • MixPanel Metrics

(3) Resolve support requests and maintain system updates for customers

The DBM (Distributor Business Manager) will handle incoming emails and calls from customers who are having difficulty with our system or need to update maintenance information. We use HubSpot as our CRM and a 1-888 number to monitor incoming inquiries and receive around 15-30 emails and 10-15 calls per day.
