This National Learning Week, Golding Homes is delighted that Camilla Braybrook has been appointed as the new Chief Commercial Officer.
Camilla joined Golding Homes as an apprentice in the Community Development team in March 2017, progressing rapidly into commercial services as a residential and commercial lettings agent after just eight months.
Camilla then became a trainee project manager within the New Business team in July 2019, successfully completing an RICS Project Management in Construction qualification, before being appointed new business manager in January 2022.
Recently Camilla, from Maidstone, where the Kent housing provider is based, led the team that secured Golding’s latest contract, a partnership with Oliver Davis Homes to develop the former Somerfield Hospital site in the heart of Maidstone. Somerfield Terrace, as it will be known, will see the delivery of 73 new homes and will be the first mixed-use development of its type in the city, comprising apartments and houses for rent on the market, condominium, social rent and for sale on the market at a reduced price.
As the new Commercial Director, Camilla will be responsible for finding and securing new development opportunities in Kent, as well as building and maintaining existing relationships with developers, contractors and local authorities.
Discussing her career development, she said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as the new Chief Commercial Officer of Golding Homes. This is an exciting time for Golding as we continue to add much needed new homes to our pipeline. I look forward to seizing new development opportunities and continuing our commitment to creating great homes and communities where people choose to live.
Tom Casey, Director of Development and Sales at Golding Homes, commented: “I’m really proud of Camilla’s progress at Golding Homes; she is a great asset to the development team. It just shows the career progression and qualification opportunities we can offer, from apprenticeship to management and beyond.
“I’m sure Camilla will continue to get better and better and I can’t wait to see what she achieves in her new role.”
