Estes Valley Land Trust Hires New Commercial Director | Spotlight on the Estes valley

The Estes Valley Land Trust (EVLT) has hired its very first Business Manager as the organization continues to evolve to meet the needs of the community. Joanna Maggetti joins the Land Trust with extensive experience in nonprofit environmental management, financial accounting and fundraising. Most recently, Joanna held a leadership role at a nonprofit organization supporting Redwood National Park in Northern California. “Having moved from a gateway city to a national park, I really understand the unique pressures that tourism and development can place on a community and its landscapes,” explained Joanna.

As Commercial Director, Joanna will play a supporting role in managing all administrative and financial functions of the Land Trust. This new position will increase EVLT’s ability to take on new projects. “The Land Trust is so fortunate to have Joanna as its Commercial Director, her strengths match the core values ​​of the Land Trust,” said Executive Director Jeffrey Boring. “Hiring Joanna will allow the Land Trust to devote more resources to our goal of conserving an additional 5,000 acres of land. “
